The valve is 3 in 1

  • Air & Gas Compression This component compresses trapped air pockets that can affect flow consistency trapped air and gases in the water line before they reach the meter, reducing the amount of non-liquid volume the meter sees.

  • Flow & Pressure Regulation This regulates and optimizes flow and water pressure, smoothing out turbulence and reducing over-pressurized waste.

  • Check Valve (One-Way Flow) - Stops reverse flow and water hammering, ensuring consistent, one-directional flow and helping stabilize the system.

It’s installed after the meter — so how does it help?

OWEA doesn’t change the meter itself. It improves how water moves inside your building. When water flow is unstable, pressure spikes and small air pockets can develop. OWEA smooths out those fluctuations, creating more consistent flow conditions. In many high-volume facilities, that improved stability correlates with reduced billed water usage.

WUE DECREASE

At the intersection of uptime and sustainability, we optimize the mission-critical metrics that define modern infrastructure performance. By integrating the OWEA (Outside Water Energy Agent) valve system with our advanced Water Resilience layers, we provide a unified architecture for managing WUE (Water Usage Effectiveness). Our systems go beyond simple filtration; they utilize the precision of the OWEA valve to synchronize cooling tower demand with electrical load profiles. This ensures that facility managers can mitigate operational risk while achieving a transparent, measurable reduction in both thermal and energy overhead

NOI INCREASE:

Beyond operational resilience, the deployment of OWEA (Outside Water Energy Agent) technology is a strategic tool for capital appreciation. By aggressively reducing utility expenditures across the power and water layers through precision OWEA valve application, we drive a direct, measurable increase in NOI (Net Operating Income). In a cap-rate-driven market, every dollar saved in annual operating costs translates into a significant multiplier for the total asset valuation. We move utility management from the 'expense' column to the 'value-creation' column, providing facility owners with the high-margin efficiency required to stay competitive.

WARRANTY

The valve comes with a lifetime manufacturer’s warranty.

Labor warranty is rarely ever needed. Customers should verify the labor warranty with their licensed installer at time of installation.

COST

Product rate is based on pipe size, installation cost by licensed contractor, and permit fees (IF required).. Larger applications will require an onsite visit from a representative. Most quotes can be made from photos and a measuring tape. Product pricing is based on pipe size, installation cost by a licensed contractor, and permit fees (if required). Larger applications will require an onsite visit from a representative. Most quotes can be provided from photos and basic measurements

MONEYBACK GUARANTEE:

There is full 6-month money-back guarantee. If you’re not completely satisfied within the first six months of installation, you may return the valve for a full refund—no questions asked. NOTE - Plumber fees are non-refundable.

LEAKS: OWEA and its partners are not accountable for pre-existing leaks.

WHY DOES ENERGY AGENT GET BETTER RATES: We work directly with the manufacturer who offers us the best rates available due to our demand volume.

WHAT ARE THE SUGGESTED MINIMUMS FOR REAL SAVINGS?

Ideal clients should have a water bill of $1500.00 + per month.

HOW FAR BACK WILL THE BACKFLOW COMPRESSION WORK?

125 ft from valve

EXPLAIN THE SCIENCE BEHIND THIS :

In high-velocity plumbing systems, turbulence can introduce entrained air into the water stream. According to Boyle’s Law, when pressure fluctuates, gas volume changes proportionally — meaning air pockets within the system expand and compress as pressure rises and falls.

These dynamic volume changes contribute to system instability and flow inconsistency.

OWEA is installed on the property side of the water meter and functions to stabilize downstream pressure and reduce turbulence. By moderating pressure variation and limiting reverse-flow oscillation through its integrated check valve, OWEA reduces the expansion and compression cycles of entrained air within the system.

The result is more consistent flow behavior and improved plumbing system efficiency.

OWEA does not modify or interfere with utility infrastructure. It works entirely within the property-side plumbing system.

HOW DO I KNOW ITS WORKING:

You’ll see an immediate difference in your water meter readings and a noticeable drop in your monthly bills. Many customers see results within their first billing cycle.

WHAT ABOUT MY WATER PRESSURE:

In most cases, the valve results in a minimal drop in pressure (3–5 psi), which is often beneficial since many municipal systems are over-pressurized.

The valve helps stabilize water pressure, making water usage more efficient. For special cases, we also offer high-flow valves designed to maintain or increase pressure.

DOES IT EFFECT THE BOOSTER VALVE WHEN APPLICABLE? No it does not effect the booster valve. It only effects the main valve.

CAN IT BE INSTALLED IN ABOVE GROUND & BELOW GROUND PIPING?

Yes.

WHERE IS IT MADE:

The product is engineered, patented, and manufactured in the United States

FUNCTION REVIEW:

• Removes trapped air pockets that can affect flow consistency
• Creates laminar flow, reducing turbulence

• Downstream flow stabilization

• Does not interfere with utility equipment

• Performance data includes controlled third-party hydraulic testing and documented field installations.       Detailed reports available upon request.
• Supports more accurate water measurement under stabilized conditions
• Works with standard plumbing connections (no cutting normally needed)
• Most properties see 10–30% usage reduction

WHERE DOES IT GO IN?

The smart valve inserts into the supply line on the building side of the meter.   Some buildings have one meter, others have multiple.  The valve works on each meter.

Example 1:  A drive through car wash most likely has one meter for all the usage.

Example 2: A multifamily apartment complex may have a meter for each building, a meter for the leasing office and a meter for landscape/irrigation.

WHAT ABOUT MY PIPES -

No pipes are cut during most installations. The vast majority of installations insert directly into the main supply line with no cutting.

In rare cases where there is no collar to insert the valve, a licensed plumber will cut the pipe and install a collar and short section of pipe before inserting the valve. This is why we use certified, insured, licensed plumbers.

INSTALLATION NOTES:

DOES IT REQUIRE MAINTENANCE?

No, its one time installation.

ABOUT SAVINGS:

Most clients experience savings between 10–30% on water and sewer bills, with usage reductions typically ranging from 6–9%. Results vary based on factors such as municipal pressure and valve size.

Air can enter municipal systems due to pressure changes, pump activity, line breaks, and aging infrastructure. Many meters measure total flow, including entrained air. OWEA creates a stabilized downstream flow zone that reduces turbulence and air-pocket effects, which can correlate with lower billed consumption over time.

EXPLANATION OF WHAT POWER OPTIMIZATION & CORRECTION MEANS

What Power Optimization Really Means

Power optimization is the process of cleaning, stabilizing, and conditioning electricity before it moves through a building’s electrical system.

In most commercial and industrial facilities, incoming power is not “clean.” It contains harmonic distortion, voltage fluctuations, electrical noise, and inefficiencies created by modern equipment such as motors, compressors, variable-frequency drives (VFDs), IT hardware, and LED lighting.

OTEA addresses these issues at the electrical infrastructure level, improving how power is delivered and used—without changing how your equipment operates.

Power Correction at the Source

OTEA continuously corrects power quality issues in real time by:

  • Reducing harmonic distortion that wastes energy and stresses equipment

  • Stabilizing voltage to prevent over- and under-voltage conditions

  • Balancing electrical flow to improve efficiency across loads

  • Filtering electrical noise that degrades sensitive electronics

Think of it as an oil filter for electricity—removing the contaminants that cause wear, inefficiency, and failure.
