The patent expired in 2017. The technology began in 2001
Do you install residential units?
No — Energy Agent is Commercial Only. However the product can be installed residentially quickly and easily. The savings margin is not as strong from the data we know of at this point.
What certifications does OTEA have?
UL Listed (USA & Canada), CUL Listed, NEMA 3R rated, made in Texas.
Is OTEA available everywhere?

Do I need single-phase or three-phase?
Commercial buildings often have both — we handle both in commercial settings.

Electricity Optimizers address this by capturing and recycling otherwise lost energy, feeding it back into the motor when needed. Many say that it has similar properties to an oil filter in ways. If a breaker has significant harmonic loads, we DO recommend installation of a panel-level optimizer that we install and sell.
